The Coyote’s Guide to Connecting With Nature by Jon Young, Ellen Haas, Evan McGown

This book can be used as a textbook for outdoor learning. It has core routines, explanations for why we find games to be fun, and many activities to facilitate nature connection.

The New Games Book by the New Games Foundation

This is a very old book and at the time it came out, it was revolutionary! This is basically a way for traditional P.E. games and activities to become more cooperative, more silly, and perhaps even more fun.

I’d love to hear if you have any books or resources that you’d recommend to other outdoor educators. Let me know and I can add them to the list!
